To ensure the long-term stable operation of the centrifuge, routine maintenance is essential.

The centrifuge requires regular inspection and lubrication. Inspections should be conducted at least every six months. Annually, the base, support frame, casing, and connecting pipes should be inspected. The upper and lower casings should be cleaned every six months. The drum casing should be inspected for corrosion every two months, and bolts should be checked annually and replaced at least every three years. Belt tension should be checked every 4000 hours. The main motor V-belt should typically be replaced after 16000 hours of operation.

For lubrication, the main bearings should be lubricated every two weeks (3g per bearing); the spiral bearings should be lubricated monthly (25g per bearing); and the gearbox oil should be changed after 3000 hours of operation.

During operation, the drum should be flushed regularly to reduce vibration. The supernatant return pipe should be cleaned regularly. Maintenance of the automatic flocculant dosing device should be strengthened, with particular attention to cleaning during start-up and shutdown, and regular cleaning of accumulated material inside the large cover.

Because centrifuges are highly automated, regular inspections, maintenance, and upkeep of the frequency converter and instrument probes (such as speed and differential speed probes) should be strengthened.
