Oilfield Centrifuge

The Oilfield Centrifuge is a high-speed decanter centrifuge for drilling fluid solids control and oilfield waste treatment. It processes water-based mud, oil-based mud, weighted mud, and oil-bearing waste streams, with continuous liquid and solids discharge.

The centrifuge separates fine drilled solids from drilling fluid and provides controlled separation for barite-containing mud. Fixed, skid-mounted, and containerized configurations support different oilfield installation requirements.

Drilling Fluid Applications

Water-Based Mud
Removes fine drilled solids from water-based drilling fluid and returns the separated liquid phase to the mud circulation system.

Oil-Based Mud
Separates fine solids from oil-based drilling fluid while maintaining continuous solids discharge and liquid recovery.

Weighted Mud
Processes barite-containing drilling mud with controlled separation to remove unwanted fine solids while retaining recoverable weighting material.

Oil-Bearing Waste
Processes oily sludge and oil-containing waste generated during drilling and oilfield operations, with separate discharge of liquid and solid phases.

 

The centrifuge targets fine drilled solids remaining after shale shakers, desanders, desilters, and other conventional solids-control equipment.

High-speed centrifugal separation removes fine solids from the liquid phase, while the scroll continuously conveys separated solids to the discharge outlet. This maintains continuous fine-solids removal during drilling-fluid circulation.

 

For weighted drilling mud, the centrifuge separates unwanted fine solids while retaining recoverable barite in the drilling-fluid system.

The separation cut point is controlled to reduce barite loss and maintain the required mud density. Barite recovery and fine-solids removal are handled within the same continuous centrifuge process.

The centrifuge provides independent control of bowl speed and screw differential speed through a common-bus dual-frequency drive system.

Bowl speed and differential speed are adjusted to control fine-solids removal, solids discharge, and barite retention. Feed rate is also adjustable within the operating range to match changes in drilling-fluid conditions and treatment objectives.

Wear Protection
High-wear areas exposed to sand, grit, and abrasive drilled solids use tungsten carbide tiles or ceramic sleeves.

Material Selection
316L or Duplex Stainless Steel construction is used for corrosive oilfield streams containing saline or chloride-bearing components.

Explosion-Proof Electrical Configuration
Explosion-proof motors and control cabinets are specified for hazardous-area installations, with the electrical configuration defined by the project requirements.

Mobile Installation
Skid-mounted and containerized configurations provide integrated equipment for field deployment and relocation.

Replacement evaluation uses the existing machine model, nameplate data, processing capacity, bowl dimensions, connection dimensions, electrical data, and installation footprint.

3. What is included in the equipment supply?

The supply includes the agreed centrifuge configuration together with applicable accessories, tools, operating instructions, inspection documents, and product certificates.

4. What spare parts should be ordered with the centrifuge?

Recommended wear and maintenance parts are matched to the selected bowl, screw configuration, wear protection, and operating conditions.

5. Is commissioning included?

Commissioning is provided after installation. Equipment operation, operating configuration, safety procedures, routine maintenance, and basic fault diagnosis are covered during commissioning and operator training.

6. What is the centrifuge warranty period?

The centrifuge warranty is one year from the date of qualified commissioning.

7. How are product quality issues handled after delivery?

For product quality problems, Yuanrong provides an initial response within 2 hours and coordinates the required technical handling.

8. What support is available after the warranty period?

Long-term technical service and spare-parts support remain available after the warranty period, with applicable costs handled separately.

9. What documents are supplied for export orders?

Applicable inspection reports, operating instructions, product certificates, and agreed shipping documentation are supplied with the equipment.

10. How are repeat orders handled?
