Three-phase horizontal screw centrifuges, besides their use in oil sludge treatment, are widely applied in various industries including chemical, light industry, pharmaceutical, food, environmental protection, papermaking, and mining. In the chemical industry, they are used for coal tar separation, kaolin and graphite grading, dye and pigment grading and dehydration, and metal salt separation. In the food and beverage industry, they are used for starch production and washing, clarification and purification of vegetable oils (such as olive oil, palm oil, soybean oil, and peanut oil), refining of animal oils (lard and tallow), fishmeal processing, fruit juice clarification, alcohol residue dehydration, and protein extraction. In the environmental protection industry, they are used for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment, activated sludge concentration and dehydration, and kitchen waste treatment.
In the pharmaceutical industry, they are used for separating antibiotic mycelium from fermentation broth. In the mining and metallurgical industry, they are used for mineral grading and dehydration, fine coal foam flotation and coal slime dehydration, and waste treatment in the electrolytic copper industry. In the light industry and papermaking industry, they are used for pulp recycling and cellulose separation. Furthermore, they are also used in fishmeal processing, slaughterhouse waste treatment, swill oil separation, and livestock manure treatment.
