Sludge centrifuges have a wide range of applications, mainly concentrated in the following fields:
Urban wastewater treatment: At the end of the wastewater treatment plant process, the settled activated sludge needs to be dewatered, and centrifuges are one of the key pieces of equipment for this task.
Industrial wastewater treatment: Many industries, such as papermaking, printing and dyeing, food processing, mining, and metal smelting, generate large amounts of industrial wastewater during production. The sludge contained in this wastewater also needs to be dewatered and reduced in volume using centrifuges.
River and lake dredging: When dredging river and lake bottom sediments, the dredged sludge usually contains a large amount of water. Centrifuges can be used for preliminary dewatering and solidification of the sludge.
Other industrial processes: In some chemical and pharmaceutical production processes, solid-liquid separation of intermediate products or by-products is also required, and centrifuges can play a role in this process as well.
